The purpose of the FLOW Aquatics Stroke School program is to further develop and refine freestyle and backstroke technique as well as learn stroke technique for butterfly, breaststroke, starts and turns, as well as work on maintaining technique while swimming longer distances.
We focus on balance, body position, alignment in every stroke before adding in the arms. Our main goal is to practice perfectly for short distances with many repetitions before we start working on endurance culminating in a 10-minute swim. Our concern is proper technique over distance or speed. Endurance and speed will be touched on in our Swim Team Classes.
Ages: This course is for children of all ages who have achieved the Swim School Swimming Sea Dragons (Stage 5).
